Together with his team and the broad Mayer dealer network, he will be responsible for our national and international customers in the future. “Mr. Bergmann has been working in the sales department of Mayer Pflanz- & Systemtechnik since 2017 and as Area Sales Manager has been very successful in supporting and developing both his national and international sales territories. Alongside his high level of commitment, technical expertise and outstanding teamwork skills, Mr. Bergmann has a broad knowledge of the various markets and maintains excellent relations with our national and international dealers, partners, and customers. After completing the first apprenticeship as an industrial & maintenance mechanic, Alexander Bergmann studied industrial engineering with a focus on innovation and product management at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Heidenheim. He successfully completed this in 2016. Subsequently, Alexander started his professional career at RUD Ketten Rieger & Dietz GmbH u. Co. KG as a product manager in sales. From August onwards, he joined Mayer as Area Sales Manager with responsibility for the regions of Central Europe, North & South America, and parts of Eastern Europe, and during this time he was instrumental in driving forward sales activities within these regions.

“After more than three years as Area Sales Manager, I am particularly looking forward to the new and exciting challenge as Sales Manager at Mayer Pflanz- & Systemtechnik”, says Alexander Bergmann.

“The horticultural sector is in a state of flux. The shortage of skilled workers, economic challenges, and the aspect of sustainability are important factors that will shape commercial horticulture in the coming years. I can hardly wait to help shape this change together with our customers, dealers, and partners and am convinced that, together with our strong sales team, I can help Mayer to make even greater progress in the future”.
