Another year has flown by and the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year are just around the corner.
To honour the success and outstanding performance of the employees, the Mayer Group’s annual Christmas party was held on 6 December. Tradition and cohesion are very important at Mayer. Which is why the participation of family members of our employees was also welcome this year and made the Christmas party a very special event.
In their speeches, proprietor Klaus Mayer and the two managing directors Frank Tröbst (Mayer Stahl- & Apparatebau) and Manuel Linke (Mayer Pflanz-& Systemtechnik) looked back on the year 2019, paid tribute to the achievements of our employees and provided an outlook on the activities planned for 2020.
A special highlight of the evening was the premiere of our new corporate film about Mayer Stahl- & Apparatebau. This not only illustrates why Mayer SA has been valued by employees, customers and partners for over 100 years, but also why tradition and innovation can go hand in hand, even in the age of Industry 4.0.

In addition to the premiere of the corporate film, the transmission of the top match of the 2nd Bundesliga, Hamburger SV against the 1st FC Heidenheim, with which the Mayer company has long been closely associated, marked another highlight of the evening. The victory of the FCH not only caused joy among the guests, but also gave 5 happy employees great prizes in the accompanying betting game.
The Wiedmann family, owners of the Hotel Restaurant Wiedmanns Löwen in Zang, provided for body and soul. Their catering left nothing to be desired and we would like to thank them very much.
