After completing his apprenticeship as a machine fitter, Klaus Mayer studied industrial engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. He then worked as a sales engineer at TRUMPF GmbH & Co. KG in Ditzingen from 1990 until 1992. In 1992 he joined the family business in Mergelstetten as assistance to the management.
Since 1993, Klaus Mayer has been the main shareholder and CEO of the Mayer Group and is in this function responsible for the strategic direction of the various divisions. In addition, he was founding president and since 2016 chairman of the Supervisory Board of 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 e.V.
After completing his studies in business informatics (B.Sc.), Manuel Linke completed an accompanying study program in Business Psychology (M.Sc.). From 2012 to 2017 he worked as project manager and assistant to the management at Paul Hartmann AG. Manuel Linke has been operating for the Mayer Group since 2017. As a Project Manager until 2018, he monitored a large number of projects in the various corporate divisions.
Since 2018, Manuel Linke as COO and authorized representative is responsible for the strategic orientation and operational business of Mayer Pflanz- & Systemtechnik and Mayer Laser- & Blechtechnik.
After an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, Chris Matzner worked from 1989 to 2002 at the tax consulting and auditing firm AWT Aalener Wirtschaftstreuhand GmbH in Aalen. From 1991 to 1994 he continued to train as a certified accountant at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Ostwürttemberg. From 1994, he was also responsible for the accounting and payroll department and was an assistant to the auditor.
Since 2002, Chris Matzner has been responsible for finances and controlling of the entire Mayer Group as CFO and authorized representative.
Mayer Laser- & Blechtechnik manufactures at the hungarian site in Kisfalud for more than 40 years for companies in the automotive industry and in agricultural mechanical engineering, as well as in special machine and plant construction. The range of services has grown steadily over the years. Today, Mayer Laser- & Blechtechnik offers laser cutting, bending, sheet metal welding and a variety of other services related to the processing of sheet metal on an area of 5000 sqm.
The machinery has also evolved over time. By regularly investing in modern CNC-machinery, Mayer Laser- & Blechtechnik offers not only a variety of machining possibilities, but is also able to react quickly and flexibly to mass production, small series and prototypes.
