Laser cutting is one of our core competencies and one of the main pillars of our thin sheet processing. Our current machinery includes three CNC laser cutting machines with a power of up to 6 kW and a working range of 4,000 up to 2,200 mm.

With regard to the material to be cut, there are hardly any limits to our machinery. Our core competence is cutting mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum and copper up to a thickness of 25 mm. In order to be able to react as quickly and flexibly as possible to your requests, our warehouse includes a wide range of sheet steel, stainless steel and aluminum sheets.

Laser cutting process

Laser cutting is one of the most innovative thermal cutting processes in metalworking. Its advantages are obvious: efficient cutting, high cutting speed and absolute precision. Laser cutting is therefore always used when complex contours need to be processed quickly and precisely. At the same time, the high cutting quality means that the amount of work required for reworking is significantly reduced. Since laser cutting can also be used efficiently for low batch sizes, Mayer Laser & Sheet Metal Technology offers contract manufacturing for large series, small series or prototypes.

With regard to the material to be processed, there are hardly any limits to laser cutting. In addition to metal, wood or organic materials can also be processed. The core competence of Mayer Laser & Sheet Metal Technology is the processing of mild steel up to 25 mm, stainless steel 25 mm and aluminum up to 25 mm.
