Mr. Zieger, why did you decide to work for Mayer?

“I became aware of the company through former work colleagues who had started working for Mayer. Due to my previous knowledge of mechanical processing, I was immediately attracted to the innovation and processing of large components. Similarly, I find the production of larger and complex welded structures fascinating, which is why I see a lot of potential in Mayer’s manufacturing.”

What are your responsibilities at Mayer?

“First and foremost, I am the technical contact person for customers and their inquiries. In addition to this, I provide support in technical calculation and sales.”

What do you particularly enjoy about your job?

“The variety and diversity of customer inquiries provide new and challenging tasks every day. Likewise, the good climate and strong cohesion among colleagues create a pleasant working atmosphere, which makes working at Mayer particularly enjoyable.”
