With our CNC-controlled lateral and travelling column milling machines, we process large components of up to 50t and 18 meters in length. Our trained personnel and calibrated measuring equipment promise above-average quality and guarantee an accuracy of up to 0.01 millimeters.
At Mayer Steel & Apparatus Engineering we machine and mill unalloyed, low-alloyed and high-alloyed steels. Of these, approx. 90% of all welded parts are made from the common structural steel grades S235JR+N, S355J2+N, P355NL1 and fine-grained structural steels such as STE690 and STE960, which are then precisely shaped on our modern lateral and travelling column milling machines.
In our upstream pre-machining department, we draw up the customized machining plans, including the associated CNC programs, in accordance with our customers’ requirements. All production processes are precisely coordinated to achieve optimum production times with interlocking production runs.
