Our Service Team is growing

With the opening of our new Customer Center West in Kevelaer in 2019, we have taken another step towards expanding our service network to be able to support you even faster and more effectively. We will continue to grow in 2020 and are pleased to welcome Pierre Dorißen and Felix Voss to our service team at the Mayer Customer Center West.

So that you also get to know our two new employees Pierre and Felix, we introduce them briefly in this blog post.

Pierre Dorißen

After his first apprenticeship as a goldsmith, Pierre completed further training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering at Venator Germany GmbH, where he also worked as an electronics technician for industrial engineering after his apprenticeship. Pierre is currently completing a further training course to become a master craftsman in electrical engineering, which he is expected to complete by the end of the year. Since 01.01.2020 Pierre has been working for us as an electronics technician.

Why did you choose Mayer?

Mayer is a company that has made a name for itself in the horticultural industry with innovative and high-quality machines. The opening of the new Customer Center West drew my attention to the vacant position at Mayer and I immediately applied for it.. I also particularly liked the flat organizational structure and the resulting short decision-making processes. I am sure that this will enable me to contribute my ideas and knowledge very well to the company.

What are your responsibilities at Mayer?

My area of responsibility includes the service and planning of electrical engineering work.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The varied and versatile tasks that the job entails. Also that I was given responsibility from the beginning.

Felix Voß

After his training as an agricultural and construction machinery mechanic, Felix gained his first professional experience as an agricultural employee on the Denissen farm in Twisteden. In order to develop his skills outside his familiar environment and to improve his language skills, Felix then spent half a year in Australia. Since February 2020 Felix has been working for us as a service technician.

Why did you choose Mayer?

I decided to work for Mayer because it is a new challenge to work as a service technician in the horticultural sector. But also because Mayer stands for high service quality and close cooperation with the customer is very important.

What are your responsibilities at Mayer?

At Mayer, I work as a service technician and am responsible for maintenance work, adjustments and commissioning of Mayer machines.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I particularly enjoy working in a team, looking together for solutions and appreciate the close cooperation with our customers.

We are happy to have Pierre & Felix in our team and look forward to a good cooperation!
