Since June 1st, 2020, we are pleased to welcome Katharina Eitel as a new team member of the Mayer Group. In the course of the newly established central marketing department, she is responsible for the marketing initiatives, project management and video productions of the Mayer Group’s Steel & Apparatus Engineering, Planting Systems and Laser & Sheet Metal Technology divisions.
Katharina Eitel has worked as an international event and project manager in the past. Through her long and diverse experience, she has extensive knowledge in photo and video production and marketing. In the past years she has organized national and international music and sports events, as well as marketing and advertising projects in the fields of music, sports and industry. Even before she was hired by Mayer, she supported us at the IPM trade fair in Essen 2020 as well as producing the corporate film for Mayer Steel & Apparatus Engineering.
Katharina, why did you choose Mayer?

What are your responsibilities at Mayer?
“The goal is to establish a central marketing department for all areas of the Mayer Group. Both on site in Heidenheim and in cooperation with our international partners, we will design and drive marketing initiatives.”
What do you particularly enjoy about your job?
“I particularly enjoy the creative, innovative work and the diverse opportunities that the new marketing department brings with it. In addition, there is the family atmosphere within the individual company departments and their employees. This promotes new ideas and ensures motivated teamwork.”
