Welcome to the “tacking / welding / annealing” division at Mayer Steel & Apparatus Engineering. Equipped with the most modern equipment and highly qualified employees, we realize your project entirely according to your wishes.
Welding is still a craft activity that requires the highest skill in handling the welding equipment. After the raw material has been procured, our trained construction mechanics first lend a hand. Our experienced skilled workers then prepare the steel structures for the welding process by professional and dimensionally accurate tacking. All parts are precisely checked for their specified dimensional accuracy even before they leave the locksmith’s shop.
The welded constructions are transported to our generously dimensioned production halls by means of our crane systems, which can be loaded with up to 50t. All equipment, from the washing and free-blasting booths to the annealing furnace and painting booths, is ideally suited for large-dimensioned workpieces. Thanks to our extensive range of accessories, we also manufacture special welding fixtures for larger quantities. All work, whether single-part or series production, is “Made in Germany” at our Heidenheim location in southern Germany.
